In general I'm not particulary fond of the practice of digging up some old tracks, hook up a few colleagues to make some uninspired remixes and then churn it out in spanking brand new and stylish packaging. Unfortunately, ladies and gentlemen, this is exactly what has happened here, and to add insult to injury, it is the heralded works of De/Vision that have been dragged through the mud. I can't understand why the guys would agree to this malpractice and downright abuse. Sure, stick some contemporary remixes as B-sides on your next singles and we can all have a laugh about it, but an entire disc dedicated to this crap? The only thing I hear when listening to this is the sound of cash registers singing of joy in gulping a lot of undeserved money...
